Q. What is the Nova Ray®?

The Nova Ray is a one-of-a-kind, patented underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle. The ROV can easily and instantly be towed for wide area surveys, with the ability to stop and free fly at anytime for a more in depth inspection. During operation, pilots can view and record, simultaneously, forward looking video, external video, forward scanning sonar and side scanning sonar.

Q. Does Advent Marine only use the Nova Ray® ROV?

Advent Marine enjoys an exclusive relationship with Nova Ray, Inc.; however, the company buys, builds and leases other ROV equipment with operator when the most appropriate situation calls for it.

Q. What is the Advent Marine Guarantee?

Advent Marine guarantees we will quickly and efficiently accomplish any mission that we are hired to do. With our experience pilots and advanced Nova Ray technology, a down day for Advent Marine is something almost unheard of. If for some reason there is a down day, you will not pay for it.

Q. I would like to hire Advent Marine, but my mission is a quick and simple, calm water mission. Does Advent Marine offer any discounts?

Advent Marine can do simple, calm or shallow water missions. If we quote your mission as a Nova Ray mission, and feel it could be accomplished just as quickly and efficiently using another ROV, Advent Marine will adjust your quote if there proper equipment is available.

Q. What is an Advent Marine certified ROV pilot?

Certified Advent Marine pilots are always in line for Advent Marine projects if our pilots are not available. Certified Advent Marine pilots may also lease Nova Ray ROV''s from us for use on their own ROV missions.
